Wellness week in Junior Infants It is time to wind down for the last week of school & Junior Infants did so with Wellness Week. The boys had various stories to read, daily yoga & breathing activities. They took on random acts of kindness and made cards for people they haven’t seen or want to say thank you to. This week Juniors read the story “We’re going on a Bear Hunt”. On Thursday we asked everyone in our school & people all over Nenagh to put a teddy bear in their window & the boys went on a bear hunt of their own. We were blown away by the amount of people who put teddies in their windows to make this an enjoyable experience for the boys. Thank you! Here are some pictures that were sent to us from around the town. Bharath and Bhagath were busy completing the Lego challenge. The boys had a nice, relaxing week in the lead up to the summer holidays. They worked on the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt', they drew a picture of their favourite teddy bear, created a cave for their bear and on Thursday went on their own 'bear hunt' to see how many teddy bears they could see on their travels. Mindfulness played a big part this week and the boys engaged in activities such as listening to their heart beat, teddy breaths and some Cosmic Yoga. Hopefully they are nice and relaxed starting their holidays. Leon made his name with Lego We had a shoe tower challenge today and Leon made this tower with his shoes
The boys in Ms Madden's class made a great effort as part of the Shoe Tower Challenge. This week was our Lego Challenge week. Each day the boys had to pick out one challenge from six suggestions to complete using Lego. Have a look at some of their fantastic creations. This week is our Lego Challenge week.
