we were busy scientists during Science week. The boys in Miss Bourke’s junior infants were so excited to become scientists for science week ! Look at some of the experiments we did ! Miss Bourke’s class went on an autumn walk to the church and found leaves , chestnuts and acorns  The boys in Miss Bourke’s class are really enjoying aistear . In our role play corner we are doing the Doctor’s Surgery and the boys are learning all about our body parts and how to take care of our bodies . Everyone is doing a great job working together and sharing .   The boys in Miss Bourke’s class had great fun doing Halloween art ! They made spiders and x-rays ! Happy Halloween ! We had great fun working as a team to find Winnie the Witch's favourite things hiding in the yard. The foggy day made it feel really spooky. A Garda came to visit the boys in Junior Infants to teach them all about the Safe Cross Code and how to be safe when crossing the roads. The boys were so good at answering the garda's question that he gave them all hi-vis jackets to make sure they were extra safe during the dark winter months.    Our Active Day in October was based around Orienteering. As it was nearly Halloween it was decided that we embark on a Spooky Scavenger hunt in the Castle Field.
