The boys in our class designed their own windmills using toilet rolls and paint. Our helper Brian helped us to put on the turbines and we hung them up. Sergiu is showing us his windmill on the wall
Zakk and Conor were the finalists of the Quarrelsome Queen's quiz in Miss Madden's class. Conor Mc Keown was the winner of the Quarrelsome Queen's quiz and won a certificate that was delivered to the class from the Quarrelsome Queen herslf.
We started our new reader "Wow!" and decided that we would like to design our own rockets like the characters in the book The first thing we did was to make a picture of space. Using black sugar paper and pastels, we drew planets, stars and the moon After that we painted our rockets. When our rockets were dry we decorated them using different types of card. We make the rockets' flames using tissue paper and stuck our rockets onto our space picture. Don't our Rockets look out of this world?!
