On Thursday, Ms Moloney's Junior Infants ditched the school books. Their Remote Learning tasks for the day included making a snowman and playing outside. Some enjoyed some hot chocolate to warm up afterwards. Hope you all had a magical day playing in the snow! This week Mrs.Harte showed the boys how to make their own play dough. We needed: One cup of flour, Half a cup of salt , some food colouring and half a cup of water and a tablespoon of oil. We mixed it all together. Well done to all the boys that followed the video and made their own playdough. This week Ms Moloney's Junior Infants have been learning about the number 4. They have been busy at home finding things that comes in 4s #number4 #Maths #EarlyMathsActivities. The boys in Junior Infants are learning all about number. They have done great work forming their numbers in different ways, making sets and labelling them with the right number and playing number games. This week we have been working on the number 3. Junior Infants are learning the "L" sound in #JollyPhonics this week. Here are some things they found on their "L Hunt" Lego, lion, leaf, laptop, lunchbox, ladle, lighter, lipstick. Junior Infants were learning about 2-D Shapes last week, circles, triangles, squares and rectangles. For Art on Friday they made 2-D Shape Art. They made animals, rocket ships, robots and many more things. Super work boys! Juniors continued their shape hunt yesterday. They had to look for circles and triangles at home. Super work boys, well done! This week Ms Moloney's Junior Infants were working on the concept "The Odd One Out". Ms McNulty made videos for them to watch showing examples and then they made their own. They sent in so many photos and we had "The Odd One Out Quiz" on our live call on Friday. Well done boys, you did so well. Dominik tried to trick us with his dog picture, can you find the odd one out. Ms Madden's boys were very creative when designing bridges for their toy cars. |
