We decided to go on an Autumn walk to collect some leaves ,conkers, pine cones and helicopters. When we returned we completed our Autumn booklets and made some colourful apples in art.

Garda Maureen visited our Junior Infants and chatted all about her job and all the things the guards use to keep themselves safe. She also showed us pictures of the different vehicles that the guards have and what they are used for. Before she left she took our fingerprints and we kept them to show our mammies and daddies.
Tug of War was great fun for our September active day. The boys in Junior Infants loved showing off how strong they are.
Ms Madden's boys had great fun at their teddy bears picnic in the Castle Field. Both the boys and their teddy bears really enjoyed exploring the castle grounds and were even brave enough to climb to the top of the castle.
After finishing the 'Wow!' reader, Ms Madden's boys decided they would like to design their own rockets like Danny and his friends. The first step was to make a plan of what they wanted their rocket to look like.
Ms Madden's got some large boxes we could use for our rockets and in our teams we started to design them.
Next the painting began.
The boys also brought in things from home to put on their rockets: stickers, engines, windows etc.
The boys were very proud of their rockets.
All that was left to do was to blast off into space!
