The boys of St.Mary's are spending more time than ever outdoors, connecting with nature. This week as part of National Biodiversity Week Junior Infants explored the topic of mini-beasts. Biodiversity just means all of the different types of living things in a certain place. This includes all of the different species of flowers, trees, grass, insects, fish, birds and mammals in one spot. On Monday the boys completed a mini beast Maths hunt. Next they had a mini beast hunt outside. And the last task of the week was to create some Mini -beast Art. Well done boys. If you would like to look for other ideas around the theme of Biodiversity there are great ideas on the Green school website https://greenschoolsireland.org/green-schools-stay-home-biodiversity-week-6/ Comments are closed.
