Students in each class took a pledge to encourage their parents to switch off their engines in traffic and help improve the air we breath. To introduce our new Green Schools theme, Travel, we had a colouring competition. This coincided with Clean Air Week and the "no idling" pledge. Well done to all the children for their hard work
Clean Air Week is from Monday 18th until Friday 22nd November. We are having a colouring competition in every class to help introduce our theme travel to the children. The children will write their names on the pages and this will be their pledge to #BeatAirPollition. They will take their pledges home and as part of informing and involving will tell everyone at home about their pledge.
Our new Green Schools Committee were unveiled at assembly today. This is the first of 7 steps needed to be awarded our 4th flag for the theme travel
We were successful in our application for funding under the Community Environment Fund 2019/2020. The money will be put to good use in our school garden.
