Well done to all classes for using their compost bins and leaving them outside their classroom doors ready for collection. Jack and William are on our Green schools committee and are in Ms. Horrigan's first class. They are on compost collection duty.
A big thank you to our caretaker Ger for installing our water butt. The water butt will be used to harvest rainwater.
We have found a suitable spot for our compost bin and all the children are learning about what to put in the compost bin in their classes. We also have information about how to compost on our Green schools noticeboard.
