LETTER FROM MR GUNNELL

 Thank you very much to yourselves and your children for making me so welcome as principal of St. Mary’s Junior Boys N.S. It has been great getting to know so many new faces over the last few weeks and I look forward to getting to know more of you and your children as the year progresses.
I look forward to continuing the good work of retired principal Mary and all the staff of this great school.
I wish to let you know that I am available should you wish to discuss any matter in relation to your child’s time in St. Mary’s Junior BNS. I can be contacted on the school phone number above or if you wish to email me directly please do so on [email protected].
For the moment, please check your child’s bag for notes or newsletters. Over the coming weeks we will be increasingly using the text service for important notices and will soon be seeking email addresses in order to increase electronic communication and to allow online payments.
Reminders:
Thanks to all who have paid the ‘class money’. If you have forgotten to do so, can you please forward to your child’s teacher ASAP. If you have an issue with payment, please contact me in confidence on the principal email above.
Change to school calendar – School will be closed on Monday December 9th 2019 as staff attend training on the new primary language curriculum.
